After 45 years of working in newspapers, I finally left it all behind and now have more time to pursue those interests I never had enough hours for  - photography, country walking, painting in watercolours and just spending time enjoying and connecting with the fascinating world... and the wonderful people that live in it.
Photography has been a passion ever since my Mum bought me my first camera when I was around 12 years old.
Determined to make the very best of my new found freedom and loving having time to belong to a photo community like this.
Isn't it great to be able to take a trip around the world each day and drop in on people and see their take on it? You can experience summer and winter at the same time!
Loving it and learning so much already.
