I joined in February, in order to see a friend's photographs - then forgot about it. Now I see what I have been missing, I shall strive to post, at least weekly! I am an Englishwoman from the Welsh borders, living in an area of Florida which I rarely find inspirational; however I hope that will eventually make me a more inventive photographer as I learn to see beyond the immediate appearance of scenes and objects. The Blips you all post are amazing, and are giving me great ideas. I must also learn to check the settings on my camera before I shoot the next day! What can I tell you - I am a grandmother; I am allowed to be forgetful.

I think maybe I ought to qualify the above, which obviously I wrote when missing the snow and mountains of Wales - it being Christmas! Florida has exceptional wild-life, rivers and beaches, and if one can get off the beaten track, can offer amazing photo ops. I am sorry, Florida, that you are being so invaded, and I understand when you fight back.
