I live....in Whitley Bay on the North East coast of England, within spitting distance of the North Sea (sometimes it spits back)
Photographer status....rank amateur, my camera is permanently set on auto, no flash.

A year-and-a-half into blipping I opted for early retirement, so the bracing air and faded charms of a fallen-from-grace seaside resort (with occasional forays into local coastal dereliction) will probably loom large unless I decide to take advantage of my pensioners travel pass or invest in a day-saver ticket to somewhere exotic.
