Creator of several restaurants and a state-of-the-art cook school beside the beautiful Lake of Menteith, he is also a popular TV presenter and writer. He was one of four finalists on Great British Menu and cooked Scottish venison for the Queen for her 80th birthday celebration. He has written many successful cook books (sales totalling over half a million), including Wild Harvest, Top 100 Salmon Recipes, Nick Nairn's New Scottish Cookery and Nick Nairn Cook School.
