Novice photographer struggling to get to grips with DSLR.
From Scotland but now spend a good deal of time in Northern Spain, early retired from business in Scotland, interested in people, places, oddities, plants, small mammals, trees, lumps of old iron, cheese and almost anything that catches my eye.

Apart from taking up photography this year, I am planning more writing, some sculpture, travel to Africa, and exploring more of France and Spain. I need to keep returning to Scotland, not just because it provides a spiritual base, but for topping up my curry habit.

I am looking forward to Independence when it comes, to walking around Edinburgh in warm summer showers, to eating a fish supper in Anstruther, and visiting Rannoch Moor.

Haven't yet created a bucket list but content to be blown by the wandering winds.
