I was born in London and although in my younger days I travelled widely throughout the world I have always lived in the UK, now settling in West Cornwall.

My dad loved photography and I can remember the hours he enjoyed working in his dark room. He died before the 'digital age' really kicked in and I regret that as a family we sold his many cameras and equipment. In grief we often do things in haste that we regret. Those items were irreplaceable.

I have always 'taken pictures' but became involved with photography a couple of years ago (2011) when I studied an art and design course with a photographic element - I was hooked from that moment!

I am looking forward to my Blip journey, sharing photography, ideas, suggestions and maybe some friendships, and if you are in West Cornwall I would love to meet up with you.

Dad - I miss you and especially when I am out and about with my camera(s)! I think of you often.
