..We live in Scourie, Sutherland, the top left hand corner of mainland Britain, about 30 miles south of Cape Wrath. We have a 3 acre croft (more like a cliff!!) and we grow most of our vegetables, and keep hens for eggs. Surplus produce is sold at the croft gate, or supplying fresh locally grown produce to nearby hotels. Croftcrafts (View from the croft gate) are good friends, regularly popping in for a cuppa, cake, and chat. It's a four mile walk to their place, I guess I'll have to post some pics next time we walk over..
