My early career as a teacher of English and Art and Design gave way to being a full time Mum and housewife when I had my son, Greg and daughter Maria.I have been married 30 years to Paul.
Gregory has two lively sons, Corey and Tyler, both at school.
Maria has completed her BA at York University in English Literature and Linguistics in 2016.
I enjoy amateur digital photography mostly of the countryside, plants, family and pets.
I am interested in environmental issues and have worked for the British Heart Foundation and the International Aid Trust charity.
I have a certificate in Counselling skills and Dream Analysis.
I am a Christian and also study modern spirituality and alternative healing.
5/2/2017 I completed studying for Reiki 1, 2 and Reiki Master level.
I am qualified in Animal Reiki and Crystal Reiki.
I have a treasured tom cat called Arthur. Our dear Arthur passed away on Wed. 29.06.22. Always loved. Bless his spirit.
I am studying French, Spanish Italian and Latin.
I enjoy cooking, crocheting and knitting.
From 22nd May 2020 I have become a Vegan. I enjoy supporting online Vegan groups where we learn and share new recipes, Vegan products and brands in the supermarkets, and support peaceful campaigns for animal sanctuary and rescue.
6th April 2022 I was awarded a distinction for my Vegan Nutritionist Diploma which I studied for with the Centre of Excellence online.
My blipfoto is called beauty is all around us. God makes everything beautiful in it's season. Much poetry is written about beauty and I find beauty in my neighbourhood, my cat and in magnificent landscapes.
22nd November 2023 on our Wedding Anniversary we adopted a brother and sister cat, Hunter a ginger and white tom and his tabby sister Holly. They are wonderful.
