When you live in a place you didn't grow up in, I think you notice things local people would pass by. For me, my home just now is on a different continent, but it could be a new village, town, or country. That's why I love my camera. One day, when I'm old(er) and forget where I am, at least I'll have a record of where I was and the things that fascinated me on my journey.
So when people ask me where I'm from, I tell them I was born in England - but haven't lived there for nearly 20 years. My children were born in Scandinavia, where, In my opinion, I spent too many dark, cold winters. And now our home is where ever we are together. For now, it's Texas. We use Texas as our stepping stone to America. Say what you like about it, but it's not until you live in a place that you can get a true feeling of it, it's people, landscapes and wildlife. I was trained as a geologist and a teacher who loves nature and music. Lots to go on there.
We are living our lives, doing our best to love every minute.
