I have loved photography since I was a young girl and in recent years my hobby has developed into something all consuming. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant but these days I prefer the artistic world of photography to number crunching! to I use a Z7ii, Z8 and Z9 and I am seldom without one of them! My main interest in photography is in landscapes and wildlife, although I also like flower photography and portraiture and I did much sport photography when my children were at school. I joined Blipfoto to improve my photography and to record a journal of my life. I achieved my LRPS in 2015 and am always keen to learn more, often attending photography courses and workshops. I achieved my ARPS in Landscapes in 2021, using images from my trip to Antarctica. 

I have one husband, three sons and one dog - all do their best to keep me constantly busy. I am South African by birth but have lived in England since 2002 and we love it, the wonderful changing seasons and green landscapes offer many photo opportunities. We lost our beloved Murdoch in April 2019, and later we welcomed a Hungarian Vizsla princess to the family called Xena!
