I am a retired architect living in Colorado. During my career I consulted on planning of outpatient healthcare facilities throughout the USA. My wife and I moved a few years ago to a smaller house. I am doing this bliplog to record my progress in the reconstruction of two model railroads - one in Sn3 scale (3/16th scale) - centered on Dolores Colorado in fall the 1950, and one in N scale (1/160th scale) centered in western Colorado in the 1950's. The Sn3 railroad models the Rio Grande Southern which is long gone, while the N railroad stars the Union Pacific and DRGW in the 1950's, but can be updated to the 1980's or even today with a change of rolling stock. The Sn3 layout is basically a switching layout with short trains, while the N layout will feature big steam and long trains thanks to its smaller size or scale.
