This has been a record of the building of our low-resource home on the outer edge of a Dorset town. By the way, my entry for 3rd August 2011 shows it nearly finished alongside the computer generated image of our design we did years ago.

The house is built projecting out of a south-facing slope with the bedrooms tucked down below. From the upper living level there are the most beautiful views down the valley. From autumn 2011 onwards I am recording the development of our one-and-a-third acre garden - something to which, as an ex-garden designer (20 years) , I am much looking forward.
