Layout artist and production sub, photoshoppery and graphics Daily Mirror 2010- No formal graphic design training, just learnt on the job but that's how I like to get paid learning! I've done most jobs on newspapers. Dabbling in stained glass, furniture making, renovation and anything creatively stimulating. Have a restaurant in France and getting into yacht charter. My motto, adopted from a friend years ago, is never try, never fail. Don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself. I've had to take my own photographs and edit them. Hopefully I know something about cropping and composing a photograph. I admire photographers who see something we ordinary mortals don't see to capture. I like to tell novice photographers to "Fill the frame and take a step forward"... If they do nothing else. I am a lazy photographer and know very little about the technical side.
