The RIGHT school

Today was school allocation day in Hertfordshire. The email didn't arrive until 18.28 and thankfully we got our first choice. I can't tell you how relieved we are. It isn't as if our second or third choice were bad schools, but this one (we think) will be the right one for Carys. It has a reputation for being very academic and competitive, something that for Carys will be a bonus. I am under no illusions though. William may turn out to be a very different personality and if so this may not be the school for him. I wouldn't hesitate to sendhim somewhere else if that is the right decision for him. But tonight we are just toasting William Ransom for Carys. Yipee!
