Lovely big girl day today. Both kids slept in, although somehow when I woke to William crying at 05.20 Carys was in bed with Jim and I! How neither of us is sure. Bad parents! Will had fallen out of bed but soon went back to sleep, so it was a 7am start for me today.
Off to London to see 'My First Sleeping Beauty' at the Peacock Theatre. Carys was completely transfixed through out. We were right in the middle of the front row, which should have been great, but the stage is really high and I could see nothing below the mid-shin area. It didn't phase Carys though, she sat on both our coats and declared that she could see well enough. It was a great production, with one of the dancers microphoned up in order to explain the mime to the kids. It was priceless to watch Carys watching the dancing. Her eyes just got bigger and bigger, her mouth slightly open in awe and her hands relaxed or clasped together depending on what was going on the stage.
After we had a lovely lunch at Belgo's (thinking of you Vive la Vie), moule et frites and a Strawberry fruli. C had Sausage and Mash and, unusually refused to try a moule. We walked back to KC to get the train taking photos as we went. She got some great ones of these bikes and of the roof of the new concourse at KC.
Back home she finished her hama bead princess and we picked up W from T's. He had had a lovely day, to the point he didn't want to come with me. Always good to know your children love their childminder.
Off camping tomorrow for the Easter Weekend. Don't care if it rains, so long as it is dry when we pitch. Will back blip the 'fun' after.
