Easter Road Trip - Day 1

Valley Heights to Armidale

Early start this morning, we were on the road for 4:30am. We had a good run, the roads were fairly quiet and we stopped off at a few places on the way.

We spotted this Ned Kelly inspired post box this morning, I love the Australian country post box, usually they are in a row along the side of the road at a shared access road and are usually all sorts of weird and wonderful, this one was a particularly good example! There are books/web sites dedicated to them, check them out! If you look closely you will see the title of today's blip on the front, supposedly Neds last words.....

Tonight we are in the town of Armidale, the town is completely dead and we are left wondering if "......we've gone on holiday by mistake......" (spot the movie quote)....at least the White Bull pub is open that serves a good beer and a good steak.....so it's not all bad as I blip from the pub!
