Kookaburra sitting in the old Hills Hoist.....

We were awoken to a couple of these having a good old laugh just outside our window this morning!! Even though they woke us up I couldn't help but smile at their call!

So my day didn't quite go as planned.....

I had hoped for a day that consisted of nothing more than watching I saw the Devil and playing LA Noire......I at least managed to watch the movie, a Korean revenge/serial killer movie, very good but not for the faint of heart.....for some reason Koreans do the best revenge movies!!!

Not even had a chance to play LA Noire, maybe later tonight!

The day involved taking Andrea down to Penrith for a doctors appointment, a wander around the shopping center, picked up a $99 Bluray player that can be made multi region....result!!! I can now buy an bluray from around the world without checking if it is region free or not!! Well I am excited about that!!

Anyways Andrea spotted this guy out on our washing line this arvo, camera battery was flat (I did charge it but must have left the camera on....doh) so managed to charge it for a few minutes, enough time to take a handful of shots.....fortunately Mr Kookaburra was kind enough to wait for the battery to charge....thanks Mr Kookaburra!!

I love living where we live....the bird life is fantastic!!! Oh and I've never noticed the Kookaburras tail feathers before.....they look like they belong on a tiger!!
