By Necessity?
After Overgrown? and By Design, today I bring you the third in the (rather dull) series of views of local reserves - Wilstone Reservoir.
The interest here is the lack of water. While the rest of the country is setting all sorts of rainwater records, the South East remains fairly dry and as this reservoir supplies water to the Wendover arm of the Grand Union Canal I'd guess the increasing expanses of mud are due to necessity. Good news for the waders though.
RCB's rather distant and fuzzy Juvenile Spotted Redshank proving the point.
