Oompa-pah

Another day, another beer garden! This time, retracing some of my steps in 2009 to the English Gardens, with its Chinese Pagoda. Nowhere near as busy as it was during that Oktoberfest week, but the Bier und Pretzel was just as good! We walked back to a well-thought of cafe for tea and strudel, but were disappointed with the service, tarnishing the experience and meriting a scathing review from DP on his Tripadvisor account!

Dinner and the evening was spent in the Hofbrauhaus - we'd popped in for a beer on Friday but tonight we went for the noisy night-time experience and had a super stodgy meal, all washed down with a couple of steins of the amber nectar! We continued onto another place - forget the name - and staggered home - some of us staggering more than others. Letty! :-) Hilarious and fun times!
