Big bed, big Ted

We had a great night last night. We were out at a race night with friends. There was 8 horse races and we put bets on them all. We were all complaining that we had no luck as we never won any races.

Then, our luck began to change at the end of the night. Our auction horse came first so we won £30 cash between the four of us, which paid for all our other bets! Next was the raffle, and Kerrsdaddy and I won this gorgeous big Hamley's teddy bear. J and A won a voucher for a posh local hairdressers. So we did not bad at all in the end!

Kerr woke up this morning and was delighted to find his new bear, who we have called Don. (The horse we won the money on was called Hard Dons).

All our efforts yesterday with the van were worth it, as we now have the room all sorted. We still have the van today so are about to start doing trips to the rubbish dump to try and clear the garage. Wish me luck!

Edit: While we were tidying up the garden this afternoon, Kerr was looking at some bricks which have holes in them. He came over to me and said 'Oh Mummy, frog. Ribbit Ribbit!' I thought he had probably seen a beetle or something similar. We couldn't believe it when we looked in the brick and a tiny little frog / toad was looking back at us! My clever little boy :-)
Kerrsdaddy put it in his hand and Kerr had a good look at it. We took it to the large pile of bricks behind the garage and released it there. Kerr then pulled leaves off some plants and put them in the bricks for the frog to eat.
