Last night's film was excellent - 'L'homme qui voulait vivre sa vie' rather oddly translated as The Big Picture. Roughly about a well-off Frenchman who seems to have everything and then an event happens which makes him re-evaluate and change everything including his identity - he speeds off to Humgary to be himself, which happens to be an excellent phtotographer! Then things get complicated again! Recommended .

Dull, drizzly and windy. Not much happening but I did do a bit of snooping on my way to school. This little place looks very forlorn - it was a four roomed farmhouse, but one half has collapsed while the other half remains fairly intact including its net curtains.  The intact half is jam packed with old agricultural bags and stuff but amidst all this are the dresser, settle and a rather amazingly painted blue fireplace. . The 'new' farmhouse, itself at least 70 years old, sits right next to this one and is itself now abandoned, the owner, a bachelor farmer, having died a couple of years ago in a freak agricultural acident - I remained at a respectful distance to this building,  It does have a bit of an atmosphere.
