My Christmas spirit arrived about 5.10 today courtesy of Asda and Tesco..and Naked Wines....that will go well with the Russian vodka, Bacardi and Jack Daniel's single barrel already here. Also got a couple of crates of beer and everything else on the Boss' list.

Russian Standard vodka and Jack Daniel's for casual visitors, or once a year drinkers... Omsk Vodka and Single Barrel for my friends.

My spirit departed about 9.00 tonight. I'm not blipping tonight's quiz for a couple of reasons, mainly the fact that the questions were out of kilter again and I'm bored of reporting them to you and tonights opposition pulled every trick in the book.....asking for repeats....answering and then changing their mind....taking an age to answer and generally playing cute....taking advantage of a first time question reader who wasn't sure of the exact rules and pretending that as a new team they didn't understand the rules either...but mainly because our captain Phil had a heart attack after last weeks game....he's ok it was "mild"...but the silly sod played tonight and he clearly wasn't well...and he should have just sat out, but he's so stubborn...and he made some glaring errors and cost us points...but really who cares?...some things are more important.

Sorry to be a grumpy arse tonight but it's my aunts funeral on Wednesday and two good friends (sisters) lost their Mum on Friday, so sod the result tonight, in the great scheme it isn't important.
