New Year's Eve

As The Boy was working until 6:30pm today and is in for the day and evening shifts on his own tomorrow, we decided that it would not be sensible to go out tonight. We had planned that we'd watch a nice DVD and then get an early night.

By the time he was home, we'd had our tea and given our house guest (see photo) a good long play it was 9pm and too late to start the DVD. Nice mug of tea and then in bed by 10pm. What an adventurous life we lead.

It's lovely to have Scuzz and Basil staying with us. Last night we caught Basil in the act of shedding his old skin (something Milo does in the privacy of her hide so I can never witness). Watched for a minute and then left him in peace.
