Mummy and daddy packed bags,
and told me nana and grandad were coming,
confused, I watched and listened,
taking it all in, When they arrived,
I got shoved into my seat, and off we went,
Normally half and hour to nana and grandads,
an hour later and new sights amazed me,
It was then I realized this was a long journey,
we stopped half way for food, then continued,
finally we arrived in Oxford, and at a travel lodge,
this adventure was fun but tiring,
We stopped briefly, then were off again,
I screamed and yelled, not happy,
but we landed at a house with cats,
Now this I could do.
The adults chatted catching up,
lots of hugs and things, I shrugged,
carried on hugging cats and playing toys!
Finally back to the hotel, and sleep,
which didn't come easy,
mummy and daddy took turns laying with me,
till eventually my eyes gave in for a couple hours,
then mummy was back in bed with me,
then 2 hrs later daddy!! was a longgggggg night!
This was just the start of a very exciting weekend
