Mandarins

Waitangi day today, so a day to reflect on NZ, what it is, where it has come from, and mostly...a day off work.

We've had a quiet one mostly. Grandma was here this morning, so we had pikelets for breakfast, feasting until we nearly had them coming out our noses. Both the girls now seem to have this bug, which is not nice for them. The Youngest seems to be at the beginning of it.

This afternoon, I did the supermarket shop, while the Husband started to organise the wood pile in preparation for the great Wood Chopping Adventure next weekend at one of his friend's farms. Yippee! Free firewood!
