Blackpool on the up

Blackpool has taken some stick over the years, and you don't fix 40 or 50 years of neglect overnight.
But to be fair to Blackpool, it's having a go, and this is just part of the massive refurbishment on Blackpool Promenade.
New seating, new lights, a Comedy Carpet of quotes from famous commedians, are just some of the things on this shot.
They haven't got it all right in my opinion. the shot that didn't make it today is of the new Marriage venue that to be honest looks like a hi-tech toilet block :)

But if you haven't been to Blackpool for a while, it's worth a drive along the Promenade these days
