Early one morning
The family arrived safely yesterday afternoon amidst great excitement from three little boys, two boisterous dogs and a granny in a pear tree.
The day dawned much earlier than I am used to and guess what, I saw a redness in the sky which begged to be blipped as it was so unusual for me to see it. I know it bears no resemblance to some of the glorious sunrises I have seen on here - especially as there is no hope of water for any reflections, simply fields - but for me it was very exciting.
From then on the day went lickety-split and I loved every minute. I even managed to go out for a walk with a camera and a dead battery! But I was not crestfallen for I had my sunrise!
I'm off early to bed to be ready when "Bunny" (the children's signal to get up) wakes at the crack of dawn again!
