Estrella, Toto, and Mondula ....

... are having a new shelter built in time for the opening of the of the Safari Park on 24 March 2012.

Estrella, Toto, and Mondula are African Savannah elephants, the largest of the Elephantidae family. They stand 3-4m tall at the shoulder and are 6 to 7.25m long. The bulls weigh 3200-6400 kg. The trunk contains 40,000 muscles and is capable of holding 11-5 litres of water at any one time.

An African Elephant can live for up to 70 years.

Not a particularly clear capture but I wonder if any of you have noticed another animal has muscled his way into the shot.
