Blowing In The Wind

Slept quite well - as did the Cygnet .

He is delighted that the window sills are low and he can stand and watch what is going on outside ??. People walking/cycling past and lots of wildlife. By 9.30am he had fed the ducks outside the front door and watched the woodpeckers and red squirrels as well as loads of other birds.

During the day he also saw a frog (something he had never seen before) and a huge fight between two ducks which must have lasted over 10 minutes. It was much more aggressive than many a pub fight I have witnessed.

The Cygnet was meant to have a session of soccer in the morning - but it was far too regimented for youngsters (it was meant to be for under 3s) and he howled when they took the balls away to do some 'training excercises' ?? it looked more like line dancing. But he wasn't the only upset one.

Instead he came up to the café where I was and had his first Starbucks and tried to join in with a couple of lads playing snooker. Again, he wasn't happy when I stopped him.

SWMBO and Bags (formally known as daughter) headed off for a pampering session and son-in-law and I took the Cygnet back to the chalet, fed him and threw him in his bed.
Later we took him off for a session of 'Messy Play' ???. That was fun. Buckets of cold beans, spaghetti, custard and the likes as well as loads of paint, glue, shapes and glitter.

SWMBO and I had a very pleasant meal out in the evening all by ourselves.
