.....Oh Sugar..oh, honey, honey.......

Went to see the doctor again this morning...she took my blood pressure and said it was fine. "Anything else?" she asked.....er yes....I'd quite like my GTT results please.

"Oh yes, forgot about that", she said, "It's fine, you're not diabetic". Oh well that's ok then....good job I asked really...then she said..."But you've turned 50 and you could be diabetic in 4 or 5 years time" She wanted me to have a prescription for some medication.....I asked if there was an alternative "Oh well, you could eat more sensibly and do a bit more exercise" , she said"that'll cut your chances of developing it". So we decided that's what we'd try first, rather than just shovelling a tablet down every morning!

On the work front, one Faculty member returned to work today....and the supply came back....so we were only down one teacher and one technician.

Was a bit stuck for a blip tonight...so this is Charlie's tooth brush. Sometimes I think we have more baby stuff here now than when our own two were little...high chair, cot, buggy, box of toys, tooth brush and paste, bowls, spoons, drinking cup, jars of baby food etc, etc.
