Sometime today Spring...

The clocks have changed....significant because of the temperature that we cycled in this morning. Bloody freezing!

The mist hung thick in the air and the hope of a lovely sunny ride never materialised, fingers like ice and constant frozen lips made a chore of the first half. A cup of hot whatever and a slice of whatyoufancy and we all had smiles on our faces again.
As the icey baptism of the second half drew to an end the sun finally came out. We shook hands and waved farewell in the rapidly brightening day.

Once home I set to cleaning the bike and then some serious strip down maintenance on my lovely ladies steed!
I love tinkering around with bikes and a complete gear, brake and steering setup session is a joy! With greasy hands and the sun on me all afternoon I was in heaven. A little trip into town for coffee and a sit in the sun (very necessary as wifey will sit indoors studying ALL day!) made the us both smile.

Now to sit and chill, a strange day, Winter in the morning, Spring at lunchtime and seemingly Summer in the afternoon!
