Wishful thinking

After looking through an album of photos on FB this evening of a friend's trip to NYC I became a little envious.

Then it was my turn to play on Drawsome, after receiving my notification from my cousin Simon. I had to choose this one...NY on my mind.

Never been. Would love to go.

Simon is participating in the 3rd stage of the Flintoff/Dallagio sponsored cycle in 39 days. I went and had a look at what that involves last night. If you scroll down on the link, you get a breakdown of the intensity, duration and distance of each of the 5 days that he has to cycle. Over 500km, in 5 days, with a total climb of over 21000 feet, through Italy and the italian alps. He is in intense training, between playing drawsome with me. If anyone fancies sponsoring him and his team mate, please let me know and I will send you a link. The money raised goes to the Dallagio foundation (research into male cancers), the AF foundation (Andrew and Rachel Flintoff's charity to support physiotherapy and rehab units for children throughout the UK) and Virgin Unite (funds will go towards improving employability and entrepreneurial opportunities for youngsters in the UK).

Have just worked all day today. Trying to get some of it done as I think it is hanging over me and causing part of my sleep problem. I feel a lot better for having exercised the brain and ticked a pile of stuff off my list. I am also tired which is a positive thing - means I might get some sleep tonight.

Apparently, Solpadeine Max does not impact in anyway upon my pain either. Boo.
