Bream Bay

Holiday backblip- New Zealand- Day 5

After 3 wet days the sun came out. And when it came out, it really came out! We'd driven part way back to Auckland the evening before and stayed in a campsite by this amazing beach at Bream Bay near Ruakaka. We then spent all morning on the beach before heading back to Matt and Jenny's house.

Cameron had asked several times each day when he could go swimming in the sea so when we got to the beach he was stripped off and ready to jump in very quickly. Andrew was excited too and seeing their faces as they ran into the sea was brilliant :-) The sea stayed shallow for ages and had waves that were fun without being too big so they spent ages playing in the sea and running in and out. The beach was huge too and had hardly anyone on it.
