No, this isn't Australia. Even though I always feel it could be whenever I drive by. It's part of the bauxite mine between Bédarieux and Pézènes les Mines. It's just a ten minute drive from our new house and it couldn't be more different in colour, structure or composition - as you can see from yesterday's blip.
