Life is a carnival
I've just done my shopping with 'Life is a carnival' on the mp3 player and I'm not sure that anyone can listen to that and not hum along and play air drums; it's funk before funk was invented. When I came out of the shop the sky had darkened as though the end of the world was upon us but it turned out it was just a passing storm so that was a relief.
This shot is from earlier in the afternoon when I was on the way back from collecting Calum. I've been driving past fields of gold like this for days and I'd not been able to grab a few photos because of problems stopping - the police are still a bit chippy about folk pulling over on the M26 to grab some blippage. Anyways; in the way through the lanes behind Sissinghurst I saw this and pulled over to the side and started firing. It's spared you from another railway related Saturday.
So we're slipping gently into Saturday evening so I think I'll grab a glass of something cold and treat my ears to some more funky music. However you plan to spend the evening I hope it works out well.
Vaya con leche muchachos!
