Ben was sharing Charley's toys and giving them a chew-test...

We were all pretty slow to wake up this morning. Steve's still not 100% and I'm officially suffering from man-flu. Still the boys were awake, one needed feeding, the other entertaining so down we went. So lovely to see a tidy kitchen table!! Ben entertained himself while I fixed breakfast, and they both sat at the table with me to eat, Charley in his bumbo. He's not interested in food any more, at least not for the time being. Just interested in whatever's in my hand!

Anyway we were pretty later for swimming - Ben missed half his lesson so Lucy asked him if he wanted to join in the lesson after Charley's as well, which he did. That extra 15 minutes finished him off though - he was SO tired on the way home. Charley didn't enjoy his lesson so much today but I think both boys are slowly succumbing to Steve's lurgy too. He did enjoy the freedom of not wearing a wetsuit though, he was able to really kick in the water! Perhaps that tired him out as well. He had a good snoozy boob while Ben went back in the water, and I had a lovely chat with the mum of a baby in Charley's class who wasn't feeling so well today.

Lessons over we headed home for homemade chips, and immediately after that I took Charley up to bed and crashed out for a bit to try and sleep off some of the poorliness. Steve gave Ben a bath and then Ben came in for a cuddle as well. He might have had a micronap. I slept, Charley fed and slept. And slept.

In the end hunger drove me out of bed! We've done very little today really. Kept the boys entertained, mopped up spilt juice (that'll teach me to 'pop' Ben's full cheeks won't it!), fed Ben, gave Charley lots of nappy free time (he's getting REALLY good at that rolling malarky), investigated a bag of nappy bits and bobs a lovely local mum dropped off this morning (bamboo boosters among other bits - yippee!), and took the boys off to bed...

Ben's been left in bed sprawled out on his back like a little froglet, and Charley has just ended his two-day poo strike in spectacular fashion and I've just realised I should have been having my insulin instead of blipping.....
