Simple pleasures....

A horrible, damp and mizzly day but we braved a yomp over the mountain, passed the stone circle, up onto the bog and down along the river. Some of us just had to get in the water. I was already soaked having been drenched by a passsing car.
Son#1 and Jo are heading home tomorrow and it's a very early start so tonight's celebrations might be a bit low key. Another nutroast is waiting, Jo has lots of silly games on her iphone (guess the accent; mime the phrase etc. Sadly you have to pay to play the Guess the Game of Thrones character), the scrabble board is unpacked and there's a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. We know how to live alright!
And it's our anniversary -  the tourmaline earrings are on!
