Thursday: Pieces of the Jigsaw

We had a quiet day today, recovering from the excesses of yesterday evening (only as far as the lateness of the night went - I have to say we were pretty abstemious).  

One activity we did embark on was to start this jigsaw puzzle that I was given earlier in the year.  It's 1500 pieces and it took us four hours to just do the edge.  And it's still not finished.  Let's see how it takes us to complete - I suspect that, at some point, a good book might hold more appeal.....

There's far too much red, brown and yellow in it - this is what we are aiming for.
