Golden Girl

I thought I had today's Blip in the bag at 9 o'clock this morning; D tossing pancakes for breakfast. Unfortunately they were all out of focus so it fell to Bertie or Poppy to provide me with a Blip and Bertie was asleep...

I had thought about photographing Poppy in a way which drew attention to her eyes as she has the most lovely shaped eyes and eyebrows. When she was around 4 or 5 she had to wear an eye patch and glasses every day to try and cure a lazy eye. Her left one still wanders into the top corner when she's tired or poorly but otherwise they do their job pretty well.

The end of a quiet weekend and we've managed it without a drop of booze. Woo hoo!!
