Playing It Safe

I really, really wanted a nice picture in my journal today, so we skipped the black dog in white snow-challenge and did a mini photo shoot on the glassed-in balcony. We keep our apricot, fig, olive and lemon trees out there, plus some geraniums, so it can never get freezing cold.

We had a great snowy off-lead walk with loads of jumping and playing. I met a Cavalier King Charles-spaniel who was very nice. And coming home, we met one of our neighbour toddlers whom I managed not to bark at. Mum was pleased. We're now sharing a baby carrot while watching cross-country skiing on TV.
