Mount York
We decided to take the Wombat Trakka out for a picnic lunch today and we found ourself out at the very picturesque Mt York in Mount Victoria.
Mount York was the point where Gregory Blaxland, William Lawson and William Wentworth viewed the Hartley Valley and the 'west' for the first time during their successful crossing of the Blue Mountains in 1813. As you cast your eye over the valley today you can see dozens of small farms dotting the landscape.
I decided that the only way to photograph the valley was by taking a panorama image. It certainly was a great day to take in the view.
