Tracery

On a day when I took several landscapes of varying interest, I find myself rather pleased with the definition of the multitude of tiny branches on these winter trees at the southern tip of the Cowal peninsula. We had thought to walk along the shore of Loch Striven, but the wind scudding over the loch straight at our faces would have made for a fairly grim experience, so we had this more rural walk instead. 

And we left just in time to avoid the next sleet storm ...
