A cold and windy beach

I went to my favorite beachfront spa with one of my sisters today.  After our massages I tried walking up one of the dunes to get a photo of the snow on the sand and I nearly got blown off my feet from the wind.  I decided not to go to far and turned around to head back to the car.

I like the shadows of the fence on the sand dune and the grasses popping up.  The water was a deep blue but there weren't any big waves.  It was pretty calm. 
Afterwards we went to lunch and I had the most delicious butternut squash ravioli over a salad of fresh baby spinach.  The day just kept getting colder and more windy.  More snow is expected over the weekend.
