Girls night in

Slow start. CarbBoy was off to a basketball match, and then straight off to a sleepover for his pal Andrea's birthday. They lost the match, and didn't play great, but all seemed quite happy regardless.

Shopping and home, with a lovely chat on the way with the kids' old French tutor who was her usual charming and flattering self. A quick tour of my neighbour's house (after the fire she's taken the opportunity to build an extension.) Hopefully they will all be back in at the end of March. The year anniversary of the fire is coming up, so it's definitely time.

Tonight with just TallGirl and I in the house, we scheduled a girls night in. Chilli with all the trimmings, snacks to come after and (download speeds permitting) a double bill of Pretty in Pink and Four Weddings.
