Blipmeet

Blipland is such a great place, full of lovely people. Today gilesy came  up North to meet the three musketeers....Kathymay, Chrissie and me. We had a good old mooch about Manchester taking pics and nattering. Well, I say we chatted....poor Chrissie has been housebound due to illness and she had a whole month of chattering to get out of her system ha ha ha. You know I love you really Chrissie.


No blip meet is complete without the obligatory food and drink stops. We had a tea and cake stop. We had a lunch and cocktail in The Alchemist stop. We had a hot chocolate and flapjack stop. Sustenance was needed with all the walking we did and as it was bitterly cold the hot drinks were vital for our survival...lol.

Whilst taking pics near the courts a man stopped us and asked if we wanted to take his pic, "Why, are you famous?" we queried, "Well I'm infamous," he laughed. It turned out it was Michael Downs, one of the Fathers for Justice who scaled the wheel, amongst other things, in his batman suit. He filled us in on everything he'd done and I mean everything. "So, what have you just been up to?" ......he'd just walked straight out of court after a drink driving case....he was catching the bus home!

It was a great day....lots of laughs with lovely ladies!
