An end to temperance?

Luton town hall 2015 and 1906. I like the way the shape of the windows in the old town hall have been reflected in the design of the doorway in the new town hall - a nice touch that.

I particulalry like this photo because of the Franklin Temperance Hotel and Restaurant that can be seen in the right of the picture, an establishment that was teetotal as I have been for the last 2 months but probably won't be after tonight as its 'boys night'. Time to break my self imposed abstinence me thinks.

I mentioned in Monday's blip that Luke had asked me to order 6 bottles of iron supplement for Cary. He had calculated that this is what she would need to see her through to the birth in late April/early May. Well it arrived yesterday. Weighed a ton. Each bottle weighs 1kg, so would have to be posted individually to fall within the limit for the Royal Mail to China, so the cost has just gone through the roof. I checked the dosage and estimate that 1 bottle will last 1 month, so he has a 6 month supply when all he needs is 2 months at most. Maths never was his strong point. Anyone suffering from an iron deficiency?
