Things that go bump....in the day!

My Monday practice is undergoing a major refurb, which has allegedly upset the resident ghost, Dr Farqhuar!

He was a local GP who used to own the building as his doctor's surgery; apparently he died in a car crash several years ago.

I heard several ghost stories today; how the last time any major renovations were undertaken, and his photo was removed from the wall, strange things started to happen and things went wrong with the work.
Others report seeing an old man walking down the corridors and disappearing.

Today though, one of the nurses heard someone running up the stairs behind her; this isn't unusual, it's a busy place. But as she stood to one side to let them past, there was nobody there.

Similarly, we heard someone stomping up the stairs (my room is at the top of the stairs) and assumed it was our next patient. But when we opened to door, there was nobody there.

The radio also took to switching itself off a couple of times; which can't be attributed to the workmen as they only come in when we've all left and work through the night to minimise disruption to clinics.

Whether I believe in ghosts or not (I like to think there's a logical explanation behind it all), there's no denying there are strange goings on.

Incidentally.....this is my second attempt to blip this. The first attempt disappeared when I clicked the publish button.
It could be a ghost in the machine but more likely a blip on blip!
