I was going to blip a comedy collage of Katie with a Jaffa cake- full moon, half moon, total eclipse thing- but then we went for a meeting with her prospective piano teacher. Only, it turned out to be her first piano lesson and it turned out she absolutely loved it. She was very shy and wouldn't use words beyond a whisper, but so loved the piano work and her little fingers were actually itching to get back at it when they'd paused. Her teacher said she didn't expect to achieve anything like they did today, so I am very pleased for her. The teacher also is a good woodwind teacher, so she has said Katie will be able to do baby clarinet.  

She now has her first recorder too and is super super proud of it. She's very proudly telling me the piano note names and where/how to find the right notes for her hands and how to do her exercises that she learnt today. One happy baby pianist!
