Day two: hm....

Day two of the photography book and this page seems to do with landscape vs portrait: one draws the eye across and the other up and down, apparently. 

This left me feeling pretty uninspired and as I was on the sofa about to watch the third Harry Potter film with Dan and Abi, I decided just to grab this quick (landscapey) shot of the mantlepiece. As it happens, this is one of my favourite parts of the cottage, which, it has to be said, is not that aesthetically pleasing on the whole.
