Wooly jumpers

Spent most of the day hauling blackie hoggs home from down the road. They have been wintered on our other ground about 5 miles away,on better grass. This helps them grow better and also frees up grazing for the ewes here over the winter. They are dosed for worms and parasites and vaccinated, then we shut them in a shed for a couple of weeks to teach them to eat  concentrate feeding. This means that next winter when they are gimmers (2year olds and due to lamb) they will know what feeding is and not get bullied out the way by the older ewes, and loose condition.
As I started to let this lot out the trailer there was another white out,and they were not very keen to come out  !
